Early 19th century Napoleonic French prisoner of war carved bone Spinning Jenny Automaton, modelled as a woman standing on a platform at her spinning wheel above the winding mechanism, slight damage and losses, 9.5cm high, under later glass dome with wood base. Provenance: The Eyres Collection of French Napoleonic Prisoner-of-War Works of Art and Antique Weapons, assembled over many years by a Devon collector.  Sold on the instructions of the Executor.
