A 19thC Staffordshire pottery figure of a Cricketer, c. 1860, modelled as a batsmen at the wicket with his blazer behind him, H 35cm.
Provenance; The property of a Collector, amassed over the last 50 years.

The piece is in good condition overall. The head seems to have lost some paint to it or has been restored with the wrong colour but does not sound like it has been restored. The body is otherwise crazed and with small chips to the paint work especially on the wicket, shoes and head. Firing crack either side of his head.
