An antique Dutch Zeeland province armorial Wine Glass, possibly c. 1750, with engraved Zeeland Coat of Arms, with crown atop lion half emerged from water and ribbon reading 'LUCTOR ET EMERGO', conical bowl on baluster stem with central controlled twisted bubble, flared foot, H 18.5cm.
Provenance: The Captain Campbell Collection. Assembled over sixty years by Royal Navy hydrographer and commanding officer, Captain Richard J Campbell OBE, these pictures, bronzes, and glass reflect his interests in maritime, wildlife and historical subjects.
